LOVE PROJECT is a design, science and technology experience that transforms captured emotions and love narratives into everyday objects.
In this project, people are invited to tell a great love story, while a set of sensors (neural sensor, heart beats sensor and voice sensor) are plugged into their bodies. These sensors collect emotion data during the love narrative, while a graphical interface uses that data to shape design objects, such as a fruit bowl, vase or lamp. The objects resulting from this process are manufactured by 3D printing.
LOVE PROJECT seeks to make the intangible tangible. The project suggests a future in which unique products carry intimate and personal stories, so that their life cycle is much longer, in a concept of affective sustainability. LOVE PROJECT seeks to include the final consumer in the creation process itself, democratizing and demystifying the use of numerical technologies. It investigates new possibilities from the Digital Era exploring the horizons of Design Industry, and its new logic of creation, production, transport and sale.
